It was truly an excellent programme, the survivors were incredible. My parents were children of the blitz in London. Eventually they were evacuated, which was also a trauma. I think all of the younger generations should watch this as it grounds you, there were so many sacrifices made for us to live and we don't know how lucky we are until we listen to their accounts of their childhood. I cycle to work each morning in London. The behaviour of some people on bikes is shocking. Straight through pedestrians on crossings and red lights. They aren’t even respectful to other cyclists. The new rental e-bike people are the worst of the worst. On their phone. No helmets, riding a two ton bike that if it hit someone would put them in hospital instantly. So as a cyclist I can say that it’s bad. They need to get rid of the e-bikes, make people own their bike add license plates and start enforcing the laws of the roads on cyclist.
